There are some other goodies in there, so be sure you have a good look. Both of Butterscotch Shenanigans’s games are on sale right now as well, with decent discounts on Levelhead and Crashlands. Aside from that, 10tons has put a few of its excellent twin-stick shooters on sale for fine prices, with Crimsonland being a particular favorite of mine. It’s a decent enough game and it definitely plays better with buttons, but I’d recommend giving the free version a spin on your mobile device to see how you like it before buying it. There’s no penalty for using the undo feature, so this is a puzzle game with a very chill pace to it. Hazards include mines and, more often, running into your own increasingly large body. The idea of this one is that you move your worm step by step through each stage, eating all the food you can en route to reaching the golden apple that sends you back to the main map. Obviously, this Switch version does not have ads. This one hit mobile several months back as a free-to-play game with ads that you could remove for $4.99. SwitchArcade Score: 3/5 New Releases Worm Jazz ($8.99) Still, once you get used to the somewhat low-rent feel of it all, there are a few hours of fun to be had here. The presentation is pretty rough and the controls feel a little… mushy? Hits don’t feel solid and the action lacks punch as a result. You’ll have to make your way through the maze like areas, collecting weapons and battling for your life. You’re on a ship with fellow researchers when everything goes ca-ca and your fellow humans start attacking you. The thoroughly okay RPG-lite action game Ailment gets a thoroughly okay prequel in the form of Endurance. SwitchArcade Score: 4/5 Endurance – Space Action ($7.99) A bit of an old dog, but one that still has many good days ahead of it. There are bits of the UI that betray its roots as a touch-screen game, but it works well enough. The Switch port is solid, and looks and plays as good as you would hope. Nevertheless, it remains a highly entertaining multiplayer action game with plenty to offer even players who don’t pay a cent.
